Beginner Classes

Mon 8pm

If you've never danced before join us for introductory courses in a variety of dances.  Bookings essential.

Increase your dance technique or prepare for medal examinations  and competitions.  Contact us to see which classes are currently on offer.

Wedding Dance

All Week

We want to help you celebrate the beginning of your wonderful marriage with specially tailored wedding dance lessons. We can choreograph to any song staying within your skill level.

Social Dance Classes

Fri 8pm

Intermediate and advanced dancers are invited to join us for Latin, Ballroom and New Vogue classes for fun, fitness and social interaction.

Build your stamina and work up a sweat with our guided training sessions in Ballroom and Latin.

Private Coaching

All Week

Private ballroom lessons are a very popular way to quickly improve your ballroom dancing ability especially if you are anxious or keen to get into competition. We cater for singles through to groups.

Ballroom dancing is extremely beneficial to all ages. It is particularly important the older we get.

Studio Principals

Peter and Rebecca met through ballroom dancing right here in Brisbane when they started learning as teenagers, competing in Modern, Latin and New Vogue. Dancing was a passionate hobby, and a couple of years after graduating from university (Peter is an engineer and Rebecca is a school teacher), they moved to England to take their hobby to the next level.  They specialised in Modern and studied dancing under world class teachers and traveled the world for the next nine years competing among world class competitors. After retiring in 2015 they continue their persuit by teaching Brisbane to dance. Peter and Rebecca also contribute regularly to Outside Change, an online national DanceSport magazine.

Justin and Amy have recently moved to Brisbane to join the Orchard's team! Being from a dancing family, Justin began dancing from a young age and met Amy through dancing. Forming a partnership together in 2006, they have competed in Modern and New Vogue and now specialise in Latin American. They are both passionate about the performance side of dance, and have a great respect for fundamental principles. They love helping their students reach their full potential.
